Second edit: My apologies, this was discussed already: http://battleground2.weewar.com/forum/posts/list/86.page
This is mostly addressed to Pistos. In the chat, this was suggested:
I think this is a pretty good idea and probably not too hard to implement for the WWPA. A user would need to give the WWPA their username and password, and the WWPA can check the user's games every so often to see if the user is nearing the time limit, and if so, end the turn. This would probably work best only for >= 12 hour (or 1 day) games. Now that I think about it, this might not be entirely possible... but when the Eliza API is released to the main server, it sure would be. Edit: Then again, when the Eliza API is released, you might as well have a Bot play your moves before you end your turn... and this brings into issue how bots will be used on the live server, etc. This message was edited 4 times. | Our Wee-Robot-Laws state that Eliza is only available to accounts that start with 'ai_'. | |

| Unless the weewar administration objects, I can implement this. Who else wants such a feature? My plate is quite full with projects (including but not limited to weewar stuff), so I don't want to spend time on things that only a few people would use. | |

| This would definitely be of use and it would further the goals of the WWPA as you simply wouldn't have to boot anyone, but rather just let time run its course. For each missed turn, they're in that much of a worse position. I for one would use this. | |

sorry to be picky, but it depends on how it works.
If its a script or similar that ends my turn before the time runs out "only" in those games that I want it to, then yes, I would use it. |

| I would code it so that you get to set some options. None of your games, all of your games, or only particular games. | |
