Ok, I will kickoff the Tools section. Here is an updated version of the Weewar Suite that JasonBunting and I have been working on. It will truly enhance your weewar experience.

A list of features:

deletes the inspector since it's not that useful to advanced players and makes more room for other features (see below

automatically turns off email turn notification

adds an option to immediately end a turn without having to wait for the 4sec countdown

incorporates my old banker script that can inform you about other players' banks

it did add features to speed up/slow down the history replay, as well as pause. But they obviously don't work now that the devs took out the replay feature.

auto-repair: one click and bam! all your units get repaired

ability to resize the chat window

ability to add date/time stamps to the chat, with customizable formats

an attack range assistant: hold the Ctrl button and click on an artillery unit and it will display it's attack range. Also, if you hold Shift and click on a unit, then the ranges for all of that type of unit for that player will be displayed.

incorporates my battle simulator script with the updated unit stats, and you can also take it in and out of the left panel by a toolbar button.

incorporates Tracy's stats script to fit it in the left panel, with a few extra stats as well. The main stats are formatted to fit in the panel width but you can click on "STATS" to toggle the more detailed stats. you can also hide/show the whole stats box from the suite toolbar.

That's all for now. Download it here: www.plutosforge.com/files/weewarsuite2.user.js. This script replaces all the old scripts, so you should uninstall those for the maximum experience.

Great job, Pluto and JasonBunting!

Suggestion: I think clicking Banker should toggle the Banker information rather than add on to it (I clicked it twice, wanting to turn it off, but it just added to the lines. I know I can refresh to clear it, but then I have to re-establish my game screen.)

Mostly good.. I really need the bank one, but then that would change the surprise when the other player suddenly builds like 10 heavy tanks on all thier bases..

The artillery one is really useless, just count the hexes and save the devs some work.

Thanks spadequack. The thing about the Banker is that it has to load the whole history file and then parse it before displaying the info. That's why I decided to let you decide when you want to display it since it can take a while for big games.

Have you actually used it? I find it to be invaluable when you're going up against tons of artys and you want to make sure all your guys are out of harms way

Hey. great set of scripts btw. I might be missing something though. Is there a way to turn off and on certain parts of the suite? I like some parts but the toggle email notification off is a bit of a problem for me. If i can stop it from doing that, it would be great.

Pluto: The feature list looks tremendous. I can't test it right this minute, but I will be. I'm actually going to try it under Opera, too.

Would use of this suite be considered cheating? It seems that it might give you an advantage over players that are not using it or perhaps I misunderstand the use or purpose of it.

might be a stupid question, but how do you install it? when i cut and paste the above address into the browser it just opens what looks like the code for the script. how do I install it? again, sorry if its a dumb question

Love the new implementation, but have found a few quirks:

Stats still seem to add an extra light infantry to red & blue.

Banker must have some little bug somewhere as in one of my games it reports my account 100 credits too high, and in another game it reports one of my opponents as being $-200 in debt. Unless he's found a loan loophole I wasn't aware of!

I would like to be able to toggle the e-mail feature too.

You need to be running Firefox (or perhaps Opera). Then go here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/748 and click Add to Firefox. You might need to restart Firefox for it to install. Then come back here and go to the link in Pluto's original post. A prompt will pop up asking whether you want to install the script. Say yes and it is installed.

I haven't installed it myself yet, but I'm pretty sure you need the Firefox Greasemonkey add-on which you can find here. Download and install that add-on and add the code. Hopefully that will run. I'll give this a test run either tomorrow or early next week... unless somebody else answers before then.
