|I just attacked a DFA in Woods with my DFA on Plains and took 1 more damage than the defender. On Plutos forge it says this is an even battle. How can a DFA on Plains attacking a DFA in Woods be an even battle? Don't Woods give HARD a -3?|

He knows the battle simulator already, no need to post the link.
You should read the specifications however (here: http://weewar.com/specifications)
The attack bonus of a DFA against a DFA is already so high, that the additional "-3 in woods" has no impact.

I'll repost from another recent thread:
I haven't looked at the maths involved, but experience tells me that the chance of destroying a strength 10 unit with one attack is never (much) more than 50%. I've tested it with the biggest possible terrain modifiers, and once the probability gets to 50% it doesn't improve with modifiers. For example, DFA:s have the same probability of killing each other if both stand on plains as when one is on a repairshop (-6 to defence).
I tested that one on this map: http://weewar.com/map/55575

If you are interested in the math (or, more precisely, in the result of the math):
With the highest possible attack bonus and ten attacking units, the chances are (rounded):
54.7% to kill all ten units
45.3% to kill only nine units
<0.001% to kill eight units

|It's the 99%(?) max hit chance that gets you, together with the rounding down.|
