Do you not remember some of the finishing moves from Mortal Kombat? He made the right move getting out of there :-p

TC 2 makes me a bit uneasy, but I can't name a more suitable map. Jovana's and UI could be too slow or prone to a stalemate. Aruba is good but it would seem rather inglorious to finish off the tournament there... So unless someone comes up with a good suggestion soon, TC it will be. Hmm, SQ's Sea Invasion would work for me, too. Ideas, Shulgin? I'll wait a little longer.

i share the reservation towards tc 2 but would be okay with playing on it. i hate jovana's. uti (was that what you meant?) would work for me, so would sea invasion. i flicked through the most popular 2 player maps using the excellent maps filter and these two caught my eye:
shallow waters
whyspy
i've never played shallow waters and whyspy only 1 or 2 times, but both seem to have been tested thoroughly for balance

Phew! It took half a year to finish this tournament. But it's worth waiting for a good thing, right? Thanks to everyone who has taken part in this experience.

Looks like I'll be playing Weewar for at least another year. The pro extension would be for this, the Juffe account, if you please.

well deserved, i never stood a chance of winning.

as the annual tournament is sort of the weewar world championships, i thought it would be neat if we could honour the winners by having a sticky thread in the general forum mentioning their names. Perhaps the first four of each year? (and i'm not just proposing this because i happenened to become 2nd this time
