congratulations on making it to the final jeye and copes!

if you play fishy lakes i'd suggest going for your version copes http://weewar.com/map/55617. strictly speaking it hasn't been played before but GyverToo, IdahoBlaster and myself did quite a bit of testing on fishy lakes and i think we all agreed that your version is more balanced. i still have some of these games in my profile if you wish to take a look...

Which of the fishy lakes map shall we play? Copes version looks like it counters the random factors of weewar. But I am ok with both version.

If I cared - I'd point out that they should use the same version of maps used in the tournaments thus far - http://weewar.com/map/51834

But I'm not sure I do anymore - so pick whatever suits the two of you as a fair map. Hell - play it best two out of three alternating colors each time.

THE FINAL IS ON!

This deserves some attention, so lets make the thread turn orange.

I remember this thread is meant to be for results only, but it hardly matters at this point.

I'm rooting for Copes, because it's best to have lost to the champ.
Then again, I feel a slight grudge, so - go Jeye!

Tournament? What tournament?

Good luck to both finalists. May the best Wee-warer win!

Well, the final is finally over, and I was eventually able to defeat jeye, in another hard-fought match...

Fishy Lakes is such a cool map - it was a great selection for the tournament. Jeye chose an aggressive opening, sacrificing some early income in order to capture a harbor and get a destroyer into the battle much earlier - and it nearly paid off!

Thanks to RockyDog for organizing the tournament, and to the other members of the committee - Darkbee, Tygerdave, and Shulgin, for volunteering your time and effort to help out. RockyDog, I sincerely hope that you will be available to organize another tournament next year, or that you will be able to find a suitable replacement at least. I personally think that you do a great job!

For me, the annual tournament is the highlight of my year, win or lose... And it really doesn't bother me in the slightest when it lasts nearly 6 months!

Well, R&G hasn't logged on in a while, but let's see if he accepts my invitation: http://weewar.com/game/333332
