I made a simple calculator to check if it is smart to attack a unit and what the expected deaths, kills and credit costs would be.
Now in the formula a bonus variable is used. However i do not understand the description.
If a unit is attacked multiple times during the same turn attackers receive an additional bonus as follows:
+ 1 for each previous attack from a distance (e.g. by an artillery).
+ 1 for each previous attack from a hex adjacent to the attacker and the defender.
+ 3 for each previous attack from a hex on the opposite side of the defender.
+ 2 for each previous attack from any other hex adjacent to the defender.
i understand the artillery part and the opposite side part. However what i do not understand the other 2 rules.
when dos rule 4 and 2 hold?

I made this example to explain it:
lets assume the red raider attacks last after all other red units. what bonuses does he get:
rule 1: red artillery + 1
rule 2: troopers + 1
rule 3: tank + 3
rule 4: heavy troopers + 2
poor blue berserker
